The vision for Patriots by the Lake is to create a model community that embodies the American patriotic spirit in a tangible form that all could experience, celebrate and honor the sacrifice of men and women who fought to protect America’s freedom.

The design represents a masterful integration of livable community with programmed open space expressed through three actionable themes-Formality, Celebration and Ceremony. Formality shapes the purposeful layout of facilities, housing and streets, reflecting the structure of society, the military and our country.

Celebration is exhibited in the grand designs of buildings that marry the traditional and modern architectural styles to create timeless works of art that stand for progress and victories that veterans have afforded through sacrifice. Throughout the project, an array of monuments, banners and art work provide scenic views that serve as a testament of remembrance and appreciation to veterans who served in all wars throughout the history of America.

Ceremony is exemplified through the use of bronze and stone to commemorate the soldiers that have sacrificed their lives to defend our great nation. It is with these principles that Patriots by the Lake was created. It will serve as a national model to change the way we think about housing for veterans. Patriots by the Lake will be a place where veterans and their families can live, work, and receive medical and support services after a life of service and sacrifice.
